The Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE) has allocated funds for undertaking applied research on replenishment of ground water aquifers through runoff harvesting. This project will be implemented in the districts with low groundwater potential. The consultancy Services will involve design and installation of recharged wells to augment groundwater in select sites in Buyende and Nakasogola districts.

PROCUREMENT OF VARIOUS ITEMS UNDER FRAMEWORK CONTRACTS

The Government of Uganda (GoU) has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) for the implementataion of the Irrigation for Climate Resilient Project (P163836) (ICRP). The project will provide farmers in the project areas with access to irrigation and other agricultural services, and establish management arrangements for irrigation service delivery.
