The Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Water and Environment (Executing Agency) in partnership with United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), is implementing a project entitled ‘Reducing the Climate change vulnerability of local communities in Uganda through Ecosystem Based Adaptation in forest and wetland ecosystems’ Project for a period of 60 months. The project is funded by GEF the Least Developed Countries Fund.
The Ministry of Water and Environment and the National Forestry Authority (NFA) have been implementing Collaborative Forest Management (CFM) program in Central Forest Reserves for the past two decades. The CFM approach enables communities to participate in meaningful negotiations and decision-making regarding the routine management of forest resources, and to benefit from the sustainable co-management of forests.
The Ministry of Water and Environment received funds from Agence Française de Développement ("AFD") towards the cost of the Construction of Isingiro Water Supply and Sanitation Project , and it intends to apply part of the funds to payments under the contract for singiro Water Works. The Employer intends to prequalify a minimum of six (06) firms for:

The Government of Uganda (GoU) has received financing from the World Bank for the implementation of the Integrated Water Management and Development Project (IWMDP). The project development objective (PDO) is to improve access to water supply and sanitation services, capacity for integrated water resources management and the operational performance of water and sanitation service providers in the IWMDP Project areas.
The Republic of Uganda has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Integrated Water Management and Development Project (IWMDP) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract(s) for Construction of Water Supply and Sanitation Systems and Sanitation Facilities in 3 Lots
The Ministry of Water and Environment now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction of Water Supply and Sanitation Systems and Sanitation Facilities in 3 Lots as detailed below;
The Government of Uganda, has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Farm Income Enhancement and Forestry Conservation Programme -Project-2 (FIEFOC-2). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Procurement of 5No Farm Tractors and Assorted Tractor Implements for the 5 irrigation schemes of Wadelai in Nebbi/Pakwach District, Tochi in Oyam District, Mubuku II in Kasese District, Doho II in Butaleja District and Ngenge in Kwen District under FIEFOC 2 Project.
