Today’s weather Summary: Most of the country experienced sunny intervals to cloudy conditions in the morning, however, isolated thunder rains occurred over parts of eastern sector of the country, central northern and parts of Northern Rwenzori. As of afternoon, sunny intervals developed into scattered thunderstorm across most of the country. Further outlook: Expect localized convective rain across Uganda over the next three days as the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and equatorial trough drive atmospheric instability. Moistureladen easterly winds will fuel a consistent cycle of partly cloudy mornings followed by intense afternoon and evening thunderstorms.
