Sun, 09 Aug 2026Most parts of the country had sunny conditions in the morning. In contrast, sunny intervals with isolated thundershowers/ and or showers developed over the regions of Central Northern, Midwestern, Mountain Elgon, and Eastern Lake Victoria basin. For the rest of the 24 hours, wet conditions are expected over the Northern and Western sectors and the regions of Midwestern, Mt. Elgon, Eastern parts of Central, and Lake Victoria basin.
Further Outlook: Except for some areas of the Northern and Western sectors, the regions of Mountain Elgon and Lake Victoria basin that are expected to receive isolated thundershowers, sunny to sunny intervals are expected to prevail across the country over the next three days.
