Thu, 20 Aug 2026Uganda expects warm to hot, partly to mostly cloudy conditions with scattered, localized showers and thunderstorms over the next 24 hours. Central Uganda, including Kampala, may see isolated showers or thunderstorms, especially later in the day. Western and southwestern regions have a slightly higher chance of thundery rainfall. Northern and eastern areas will be warmer and sunnier, though isolated storms are still possible. Overnight into Friday morning, temperatures will cool, humidity will rise, and some areas will experience early-morning showers.
Further Outlook: Friday, August 23rd, through Sunday, Uganda will experience warm to hot conditions with variable clouds, sunshine, and localized showers or thunderstorms. Afternoon/evening thunderstorms are possible, especially in western, central, and southern regions. Northern and eastern areas will be drier and sunnier, though isolated storms are possible. Rainfall will be localized. Temperatures will be high during the day, cooling overnight and in the early morning.
