Mon, 20 Jul 2026In the morning, some parts of the Western sector, Lake Victoria basin regions as well as Central Northern and Mt.Elgon highlands were experiencing sunny intervals with isolated showers over some Islands of the Lake. The rest of the country was being dominated by sunny conditions. Isolated showers and/ or thundershowers are expected over most parts of the country apart from the areas of the cattle corridor.
Further Outlook: In the next three days, the regions the Northern and Western sectors will continue experiencing isolated showers and/or thundershowers as a result of the alignment of the Meridional and Zonal Arms of the rainbelt in combination with the Congo Airmass. Localized showers will also be experienced in Mountainous areas as well as Lake Victoria basin.
