Thu, 15 Oct 2026Thursday, October 15, 2026, Uganda is experiencing warm to hot weather, with sunshine and occasional cloud cover nationwide. Northern and northeastern regions can expect higher temperatures (29–32°C). Central, western, and eastern areas may see increased cloud cover and light showers or thunderstorms, especially this afternoon and evening. Scattered thunderstorms are also possible around the Lake Victoria basin. Overnight, temperatures will cool, with variable cloud cover and potential showers. Friday morning, October 16, will bring alternating periods of sunshine and clouds, with localized rainfall possible. Further showers or thunderstorms are expected to develop in some districts later in the day.
Further outlook: Over the next three days, Uganda will experience warm conditions, with sunny intervals alternating with scattered showers and thunderstorms. On Friday, rain and thunderstorms are likely, particularly around the Lake Victoria basin, western Uganda, and parts of the east. Other areas may remain warm and relatively dry. On Saturday, cloud cover and the likelihood of showers or thunderstorms may increase, with heavy rain possible. Daytime temperatures across much of the country are expected to range between 28°C and32°C, while highland areas will be cooler. Karamoja may remain comparatively drier than other regions.
