South Western Umbrella of Water and Sanitation is governed by a Board comprising nine members. The Board provides strategic leadership and oversight, approves organizational performance targets, and ensures accountability of management in the effective and sustainable delivery of water and sanitation services. 

Services

HOW TO GET A NEW WATER CONNECTION
You will be required to pay or incur the cost for the materials for the connection as shown on the new connection payment invoice.
Payment should be made directly via Cente Agency Points, Mobile money platforms.
The procurement of materials and their installation will strictly be done by the SWUWS office staff.
You are required to submit a copy of your national identity card
Copy of land/ plot Agreement or a recommendation letter from the chairperson LC1 will also be required for submission

  • Paying your water bills on time
  • Maintaining of fittings and pipe networks after the water meter.
  • Regularly check your taps and fittings after the water meter for leaks
  • Engage a professional plumber to immediately repair any leaks that may occur after the meter
  • Inform us immediately in case of any leakages on your water connection before the meter
  • Seek advice from south western umbrella in case there are any works at your property that may damage water pipes and fixtures
  • Use water efficiently
  • Inform SWUWS of any illegal water use suspected or detected
  • Report any damage of water pipes, fittings and installations to SWUWS.
  • Update SWUWS with any changes of customer and property details promptly
