Today a team of officials from the Eastern Region  led by the WSDF-E manager and the Eastern Umbrella manager carried out a routine monitoring field visit to assess progress of works for Bulegeni Town Water Supply System in Bulambuli District.  The project which WSDF-E will hand over to the Eastern Umbrella for O&M once complete is designed to serve a population of 23901 people by 2035. The scheme will comprise of:
A guard house, an ecosan toilet,  a public toilet, public stand posts and domestic connections, a chlorine dosing unit, reservoir, break pressure and sedimentation tanks.
