WSDF-SW team stakeholders' meeting in Rutookye
Today, the WSDF-SW team had a stakeholders' meeting in Rutookye, one of the town councils whose water supply system was constructed in 2014/2015, under the EU-MDG project. The meeting was held in order to pave way for connection of applicants whose water connection fees were paid to the water board, before takeover by NWSC, but were never connected. During the meeting, NWSC represented by their Bushenyi Area Manager agreed to work with the WSDF-SW, in order these applicants verified and connected, with support from the SCARP 100 project, which targets extending 10kms of pipeline in Rutookye, this FY. The community has expressed their gratitude to our Commissioner, Eng. Dominic Kavutse, for his tireless efforts in making sure that this case is brought to an end.
