The Ministry of Water and Environment through the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Department contracted Anhui Sijan Holding Group Co. Ltd to construct Shuuku- Masyooro Gravity Flow Scheme in Sheema district.The Project is being funded by the African Development Bank. The construction of this scheme is aimed at improving access to safe and clean water to the communities in the areas of Sheema South and Sheema North. The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Water and Environment Mr. Alfred Okidi Okot carried out a site inspection to monitor the progress of construction works of the system.
