With joint funding from the Government of Uganda and African Development Bank through the Water Supply and Sanitation Programme Phase  II,the Water and Sanitation Development Facility Central (WSDF-C) is implementing the construction of Kagadi piped Water Supply and Sanitation System in Kagadi district.

Today,officials from WSDF-C joined Kagadi Town Council leaders and community memebers to carry out the first site meeting which commenced with a site inspection that was aimed at assessing the progress of the construction works.

Keynote in this meeting was the progress of works where the Contractor reassured members of his commitment to fast track the project.
"I will put all necessary measures in place to ensure time lost is recovered", he said.

This follows a directive that the Minister for State for Water Ronald Kibuule gave to the Contractors of the Kagadi multi-billion piped water project a fortnight ago during the site visit held at Kagadi Town Council Hall where works are expected to be completed by December 2019.
