Today, MWE through Water for Production Regional Centre North held a joint inspection of completed works at Giligili Presidential Demonstration Farm in Arua district.
Participants include Arua District Local Government officials and MWE officials
WfPRC-North installed sprinkler, spray tape and drip irrigation systems at the farm.
Crops grown include onions, paw paws, coffee, bananas and pineapples among many others.

WfPRC-North also technically handed over Andibo small scale irrigation system in Pakwach district.
The project was funded by Government of Uganda and has 86 beneficiaries.
Crops grown with the help of the drip irrigation system includes water melons, onions, carrots, egg plants, onions, okra and tomatoes among many others.
