The Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE) through Water for Production Regional Centre-Central (WfPRC-C) invites eligible consultants (firms) to indicate their interest in providing the required services. Interested consultants (firms) must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services.

Note that a consultant will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method set out in the consultant Guideline not the least cost based selection as earlier stated in the advert that ran in the New Vision of 29th January, 2021

Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services above. The shortlisting criteria will include; Experience in at least 2 similar assignments

Successful bidders should not have conflict of interest in relation to the subject of the procurement, should not be suspended by PPDA, and must demonstrate legal capacity to contract. Bidders should also provide a cover letter, valid trading licence, certificate of incorporation, Memorandum and articles of association, company profile, and evidence of being a local provider. ‘’local provider’’ means a provider registered in Uganda whose majority ownership is held by Ugandans citizens. Documents to be submitted in the bid as proof of eligibility to be a local provider include; Return of allotment of shares and copies of the national identity cards or passports of majority shareholders

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the PPDA.

Expressions of interest must be delivered by 12th February, 2021 at 10:00 Am. (local time) and mention the Procurement Reference Number and Subject of Procurement.
