My name is Moses Kirya, a resident of Kagaire village, Kagaire Parish Masuba Sub County, Namutumba District. I am a member of the Kagaire-zivamuntuyo Farmers group, one of the several groups that received alternative livelihoods under the Building Resilient Communities, Wetland Ecosystems, and Associated Catchments in Uganda Project. Our group received 550 turkeys for eleven members. I received 25 turkeys as a person.

I sold mine and bought a bull, and I hope to change to a cow. I also received one goat. The goat has since been produced thrice. Each time, it gives birth to two kids. Now I have seven goats within a space of one year. I am grateful to the government because I believe my livelihood will not be the same. From what I have received, I have been able to complete my house, and now my family has decent accommodation.
