Today,the 27th February,2026,Ministry of Water and Environment through the Rural water department concluded their site meeting and inspection under Ala- Ora project( IWMDP) - Lot 1( Madi- Okollo,Nebbi & Zombo).
This started with site visits to check on the progress of works and then later ,the site meeting .
The teams visited Ofaka sub county, Adraa primary school,Baribu,Ndriba under Lot 1.
Present at the site meeting and inspection were teams from MWE( RWSSD),Studi International in association with Joadah Consult as the works supervision team,VAMBECO Enterprises Ltd( Contractor),Pinnacle Enviro Consult as the stakeholder engagement consultant team and Nebbi District officials( LC5,CAO,ADWO).
The meeting was chaired by Principal Eng.Sseguya James( MWE).
The cumulative percentage progress for Lot 1 stands at 20%.
However the Ala- Ora project fulls under Intergrated Water Management and Development project ,funded by World Bank.
The project covers the West Nile sub region of Uganda,in the districts of Terego,Yumbe,Madi-Okollo,Zombo and Nebbi districts.
