The Under Secretary Finance and Administration; Ms. Nassuna Catherine represented the Permanent Secretary; Dr. Alfred Okot Okidi and officiated at the Dissemination Workshop for the Strategic Development Plan, Service Delivery Standards and Clients Charter for the period FY 2025/26 - FY 2029/30) of the Ministry of Water and Environment.
The workshop was to share the key highlights, strategic priorities, implementation framework and performance standards outlined in these documents.
The documents developed are key instruments intended to strengthen institutional performance, accountability, transparency, and improved service delivery to the public.
The three documents were prepared in line with the Government National Planning Framework in a highly consultative manner which involved representation from the different stakeholders of the Ministry.
The documents are therefore aligned to the Vison 2040, National Development Plan IV, Tenfold Growth Strategy of Government and our Programme Implementation Action Plans for Natural Resources, Human Capital Development and Agro-industrialization.
The workshop was attended by Ministry of Water Headquarters and Regional Staff, Representatives from Ministry of Public Service, National Planning Authority and Stakeholders.
The Documents will officially be launched during the opening ceremony of the 9th Uganda Water and Environment Week that will commence on Monday 23rd March, 2026.
